Undersealing is a process to help preserve the life of your vehicle by protecting the undercarridge of your vehicle. Over time, rust and corrosion occurs but because this is an area you don’t see, you tend not to think about. Undersealing a vehicle helps protect from this unwanted rust and rot. The first step to undersealing a vehicle is preperation: This includes a steam clean to remove any light dirt and light rust that has built up, followed by heavy rust removal with the use of abrasive materials. Preperation is the most important aspect of undersealing, as you are trying to preserve the life of the vehicle, as much debris needs to be removed prior to treating.

After the vehicle has been prepared, any heavily rusted areas of the vehicle will be treated with Rust Encapsulator, which helps to remove the reactivity of the corrosion, to a point below that of bare steel, ensuring the longevity of your undercarridge.

The final step is applying the underseal coating itself. We use a product by FORCH that has great adhesion and water resistant properties and leaves a sleek black finish to the underside of your vehicle. 

We offer a range of undersealing services to suit your budget – from a simple undercarridge only service to bumper and arch liner removal, to cavity wax injections for complete peace of mind.

An underseal takes a minimum of 2 days, for large vehicle that are having extra services such as cavity wax injection, please allow up to 5 days for us to complete the works on your vehicle. Due to this timeframe, bookings for this service must be booked at least 2 weeks prior to any work commencing. Our prices include all consumables and are VAT inclusive.
